"That Scott, he's so nice....and ugh! That Dolores' daughter....she so spoiled!"

Scott decided to go and look at the bar at the liquor display and walk around, I think he had enough 'camera talk" for a while.
I noticed he was at the bar and when he sat back down, he said..
"They have some really nice stuff, I saw a couple of bottles of tequila your brother likes..."
THEN!
Then 10 minutes later, the waitress brings him a shot of Glen Levitt and says:
"This is compliments of the young woman at the end of the bar"
Our faces were priceless!!! The remaining fellas at the table were getting their cameras ready just in case there was going to be a chick fight (there wasn't, I don't know how to fight)
Apparently while he was at the bar, she struck up a conversation with him....he mentioned that $8 for a shot was ridiculous and so she sent one over....
As our table was in awe of the situation and I was laughing....she passed us to go to the bathroom.
I told him to make sure and thank her for the drink when she walked out and he did...
She didn't stay, she just walked out. I think she figured he was single....lol
After leaving the bar, he walked with a certain spring in his step....
Yeah, he's still got it, but like that tree, it's mine.

Never stood in line for a book....but I will now.

George Michael Signs Big Book Deal
Jan. 16, 2008, 6:39 PM EST
The Associated Press
LONDON -- In what his publisher calls a record-breaking deal, British pop superstar George Michael is working on a memoir to come out in the fall of 2009.
HarperCollins says the book, currently untitled, will be an "access all areas" story, with the 44-year-old Michael writing extensively about his professional and personal life.
A publishing official with knowledge of the negotiations said the deal was worth at least $6 million for British rights alone, among the biggest publishing contracts ever for that market, and at least $7 million overall.
"George has promised HarperCollins a no-holds barred biography, and it's certain to be just that," the singer's manager, Andy Stephens, said in a statement Wednesday. "People aren't stupid, they're beginning to notice that the truth is more interesting than the stories the press come up with!"
Michael, whose many hits include "Careless Whisper," "Faith" and "Father Figure," has had several run-ins with the law, on charges ranging from drug possession to lewd conduct. Elton John, with whom Michael has performed on stage, has spoken of a "deep-rooted unhappiness" in the singer's life.

The funniest thing Ness said on New Year's Day

While waiting for Shrek 3 to come on, the preview for Hairspray played over and over for approximately 10 times. By the third time, Ness said.
"yook (look) there is you"
The first time she said it, I ignored it....
Then she said it again each time it showed she kept saying it....
Was I offended? HELL TO THE NO!
I couldn't stop laughing!!!!
I think it's because of the hair....yeah, that's it...the hair.
I love her!

This song
This man.
This man and this song.
I can't even put into words what this song does to me.
When my Uncle was ill and praying for a miracle, I would play this song over and over and over. In my car, in my home, and once with him.
The day of his service was bittersweet. It was finally over. The pain, the suffering and for the first time in many months, my time was....my time.
Don't get me wrong, I had a choice, oh yes a choice. My choice was to do exactly as I did and I have NEVER had any regrets. But finally, time.for.me.
During his service I didn't cry much. I didn't let go. I cried so many tears I don't think I could ever cry again.
That night, my brother and I had tickets to see Jonathan Butler.
Finally, time for me.
This was my first time seeing Mr. Butler and I was so excited. His voice is big and his faith strong. And for a few hours I didn't think of anything but the beautiful music that he made.
Until.
Until he sang this song.
Then like a dam breaking the emotions that I held in all day flooded and the tears flowed. It was as if I were the only person in the room and he was singing to only me.
The precise moment I felt Tim with me, my brother grabbed my hand and I knew.....Everything is going to be alright.
Everythings gonna be alright
Everythings gonna be alright..
Everythings gonna be alright..
Everythings gonna be alright..
Everythings gonna be alright..
Everythings gonna be alright..
Everythings gonna be alright..
Everythings gonna beeeeeeeeeee
And still to this day when I hear this song on my ipod, in my car, in a store, it takes me to that time and place.
Now why you ask am I blogging about this now?
Don't worry, I am getting to the part with the dirt....
Reason is.
Billy and Denise are on a ship.
Where this man.
Will sing this song.
And I miss them terribly.
I hope they think of me when he sings it and I can't wait until they get back.
I wanna hear everything......
Miss you guys!

Happy Birthday to my Angel
Normally I don't post pics of Nessa in my blog (with respect to the parents) but I am going to make an exception this time, mostly because this is the only picture I have available to Steph)
Anyway.....My Angel turns 23 today!!!! I cannot even believe it. It seems just like yesterday I was driving her to McDonalds to get some french fries and now I do it with her daughter. Sometimes I look in the back seat and I am taken back 20 years ago. Steph and Ness are very similiar at this age. Ness is an awesome combination of both her Mommy and Daddy and has her own personality and is just a cutie cutie cutie...
Wait.
How did this turn into a story about Ness?
Let's get back to the birthday girl.....
Steph.
I am very proud of you. Of how you and Chris are raising Ness. Of how you went back to school and are now doing what you were meant to do. You are talented and will no doubt be successful in your new career.
Still I can't believe you are 23.
23.
Geez! I am getting old!
Oh, and yes, I will be joining you for dinner tonight......
It's not everyday my Angel turns 23......
Love you!

How was your weekend?
Scott and I also got up at the butt crack of dawn (4:00 am) and rode to Chama to ride the train to Antonito. Janna & Mariah bought this for us for Christmas and since next week is the last week and we have plans, we figured we best go this weekend.
It was really fun! I have a ton of photos to go through, I am sure there are better ones than this but this is what I saw last night when we got home....
Also last week Grey's? Totally redeemed itself in my books.... totally!

**tap** **tap** **tap** Is this thing on?
I really need to keep up with this thing here.....
But I have no idea what to say and pretty certain no one reads this anymore. If you do, thank you!
Also, who gives a flip about the random stuff? LOL
Ok, it's Thursday which means 2 things.
Clean my house &
Grey's Anatomy
Now, my thoughts on last week's?
Mostly negative, but here it goes....bullet style
- What is up with Christina & Alex's hair? Just because they had a 2 week break why did their style change? Christina looks like Laura Ingalls.
- I miss Addison and especially Burke. 2 major characters. Even though Isiah Washington said hateful and stupid things, he will definitly be missed from this show. He worked that Burke character like no one's business and I think Christina needs answers.....maybe tonight she will get them as I see Dianah Carrol's character is on... It's just, I WANT BURKE BACK!
- Lexi Grey. Lexi is an intern. She is there to learn a job. She needs to do her freaking job and worry about Meredith during break time. She was suppose to get Sheppard for an emergency situation and she is staring at Meredith. WORK GIRLY! I am kind of excited to see where her character goes, but if she doesn't take her "internship" seriously and spends the entire season staring at Mer, then I am over her.
- Speaking of over, Mer/Der need to get get it on or get off! 'nuff said.
- I did love Bailey and her attitude....She went through hell last season with interns covering up and killing people and now that she is free of them, she can move on. And since she wasn't chosen as Chief, let Callie deal with them....
- I feel sorry for Callie. I really do. She loves George. When she married him, she thought he loved her. He doesn't, he loves Izzie, who has loved everyone but the Chief. Even though I love Callie, I don't think George is right for her....she needs a stronger man.
- George and Izzi like Mer/Der need to get on or get off. And seriously, the bambi scene? Did not love it.
- And as a final note, why are there so many new interns and will they all play a part now? That is alot of people to keep track of....
And there you have it....I still love Grey's and will watch each episode at least 3 times but these are my concerns and I hope everything will work itself out......
I promise I won't go so long between posts....can't guarantee the content being earth shattering, but I will post...
Ciao!

I almost forgot my password to this
Not much to report.
Just a little randomness....
* Last week had some drama with our TV. Drama still continues this week, but I have vowed not to make it overcome my life.
* Didn't enter any State Fair entries....came up and took me by surprise, and well I just didn't see anything "worthy"
* Speaking of which, I need to get my MO to the JO back. If anyone would like to have family pictures taken of them for the low low discount price of.....let's say FREE! Let me know. I wanna try and get my MoJo back.
* Scott's birthday was last Sunday. Didn't celebrate too much. Small dinner party and a 1/2 gallon of crown make the boy happy. Next year, he will be the big 4-0. Major party!
* I love my ipod.
* I got the new album from Pat Monohan and I am really digging it. He is the lead singer of Train.
* I obsessed with Flickr.
* I still love George Michael.
* I am getting over Howard. He makes a new cd and that's it. No tours no play on the radio. Boy needs to get a new PR team.
* Winter is coming and I am not looking forward to Scott's dry skin situation. If anyone has advice on how to "cure" it. I am all ears!
* Speaking of ears, Sadie noticed how tiny my ears are and so I measured them. They are exactly 2 inches. I told you this would be random.
* Still writing in the journal. Once I fill it, I may burn it. LOOOOTTTSSS of private things there.
* No, not *that* kind of private. pervs
* Oh, I bought a new watch today! Needed a new battery in my old one, didn't feel like going to get a new battery, bought a new watch instead. Thank to Billy, used my birthday gift certificate.
*Is anyone still reading?
*I wouldn't be if I were you.....
So, I will leave you with this....
Peace out!

2 hours of my life, I will never get back
Because I turned my house UPSIDE DOWN looking for my copy of Season 1.Why? Do you ask?
Was I going to watch it?
That would be a big fat NO!
The reason I felt the need to find it, is because I had just recently purchased Season 3 (haven't watched it, but I got it) and wanted to have all 3 seasons together.
That's right, I have OCD.
If they belong together, they need to BE together.
Seasons 1-6 of Will & Grace are together and that makes me happy.
What doesn't make me happy is that when I spend 2 hours looking for something that was in the right place and the place that I checked at least 7 times before.
And yes, I was fully prepared to purchase it again if I couldn't find it....
I got it that bad.....the OCD.
